St Finbarr’s camogie captain Stephanie Punch will create her own little bit of history on Saturday.
She will also be hoping to deliver a first provincial trophy for the famed club.
Punch will be the first person to lead the Barrs out in a Munster senior camogie final against De La Salle at FBD Semple Stadium, 1pm, with their maiden silverware at this level firmly in her sights.
For now, the focus is on the game. They will worry about things like that after because they know how tough it will be.
They came through a battle with Newcastle West in the semi-final, which took extra, extra time to separate the sides.
“We're delighted to have gotten over Newcastle West, it was a marathon of a game,” said Stephanie.
“The bodies were a bit sore, but we regrouped last Friday to get going again and it’s a huge occasion for both clubs on Saturday.
“It’s the first time either of us have been a Munster final. But look it’s fantastic to be still hurling in November, so we're really looking forward to it.”

That tough test against Newcastle West should stand to the Barrs on Saturday and they won’t fear extra-time if it comes to it.
“It was the first time I've ever played 90 minutes in my life. But look, I suppose you're probably guilty of thinking we'd won it in full time, but in fairness to them, they came back and they came back strong at us.
“We were probably happy to be still there at the end of extra time, but look, these are the games you want to play in and it will be long remembered in the club.
“We’re under no illusions and know we face another battle on Saturday. They're a fantastic team and they have six or seven Waterford players.
“But we have six or seven Cork players as well. So it should be a titanic battle. No-one who gets to a Munster final is a bad side. Just like Newcastle West it’s going to take everything we have to get the better of them.
“We're excited for the challenge and are looking forward to playing at Semple Stadium.
"It's a great for move for camogie, for ourselves and great for the game really that we're starting to get these, you know, fantastic venues now.”
