Cork Player Ratings: How Rebels fared in Munster final triumph over Limerick

Made two decent saves in the first half from Adam English but will have been disappointed to concede near post to Aidan O'Connor.
What was vital though was his composure on his puck-outs, even when Limerick were dominating in the air. And of course, his penalty save!
Tagged David Reidy which meant he spent a bit of the first half out towards the 65. Smashed over a rare point from play for good measure. Guilty of one silly foul late in extra time but he aggression and size was absolutely essential to this win.
Could have done better for both goals, though he broke even elsewhere and as the game went deep into extra time his youth and exuberance showed. Came up to snatch a point. Was ready to take a penalty too.
Cork's on-form defender, he was given Aaron Gillane duty. Coughed up a few scores and was booked but outstanding effort in general. Came off because of the yellow.
Tasked with marking Gearóid Hegarty, he did well initially, even grabbing a clean puck-out. Hegarty became more prominent so Rob Downey was called in but a very solid showing.
CIARÁN JOYCE: Back on Cian Lynch duty, as tricky as it gets given his current form.

Lynch was forceful in the air early before Joyce came into it. Of course, the Limerick playmaker was heavily involved but the Cork centre-back collected a mountain of ball too.
Tom Morrissey got off four early shots, two points, by finding pockets of space but Coleman was immense, tackling ferociously and moving the sliotar calmly in the mayhem. Answered all his critics though.
Stuck to Adam English, which negated his attacking runs compared to the last meeting. Grabbed his own point and left it all out there.
Operating far more as a traditional midfielder, he had a decent first half, combining with Coleman for a point. His covering and work-rate was a huge factor from there and Limerick didn't get that grip between the 65s they had three weeks ago.
Surprise inclusion in Declan Dalton's ongoing absence but started very well, clipping two points and threatening for a goal. Wasn't as involved in the second half before coming up with a massive score coming down the stretch of normal time.
Sensational first half, firing 1-3 from play as he drifted off Kyle Hayes. He didn't impact the scoreboard the same way from there but his threat kept Hayes penned in for long spells.
Movement was excellent with the wind both to land a couple of great points but also act as a playmaker, with three assists as well as being fouled for two scoreable frees. Battled away before tiring, adding another assist and getting fouled for a Horgan free.
Didn't get as much possession as he'd have liked, though he did raise a white flag. Taken off but then came back on to stitch a penalty in the shootout.
Pretty well marked by Dan Morrissey, though it helped that the ref left some ridiculous fouls go. Broke a host of long deliveries even if they didn't stick all the time. Put real pressure on the Limerick defenders coming out too.
Curled over two first-half points from play as well as two wides, and that was despite being repeatedly fouled. Kept showing though and grabbed what turned out to be a critical late point from play.
Sent in when Hegarty had become prominent and definitely got on top of that battle.
Hugely involved, initially at midfield and then at wing-back. Thundered up to fire an extra-time point.
Match-winning replacement in attack, scoring 0-3 and squeezing his penalty over the line in the shootout.
Worked tirelessly down the flanks picking up possession and replacing Harnedy.
If the Cork supporters were delighted to see him lance a point against Waterford, this was the stuff of dreams. Grabbed two scores, set up another, was fouled for a free and converted his penalty.
Slotted in for O'Donoghue when he was on the brink of a second yellow and was rock solid.
Busy in the second half of extra time.
