With six rounds played and just three remaining in the RedFM Division 1 Hurling League, Glen Rovers and Blackrock resume the action this evening at 7:30pm.
The last round brought major shifts in both the overall and from-play scoring charts, especially after St Finbarr’s emphatic 5-30 to 0-20 win over Kanturk and Sarsfields’ 4-24 to 1-14 demolition of Carrigaline.
Seán Walsh continues to lead the overall scoring with 1-59. Kevin O’Sullivan has leapfrogged Eoin O’Leary into second, pushing the Glen forward down to third.
Brian Kelleher climbed from sixth to fourth after a strong showing in the loss to Sarsfields, while Alan Cadogan slipped to fifth having missed Douglas’ win over Carrigtwohill.
William Buckley’s outstanding 1-7 from play against Kanturk propels him to sixth, while Jack Cahalane enters the chart in seventh with his staggering 3-10 haul from the same game.
Kanturk’s Rory Sheahan and Blackrock’s Ryan Sweeney drop to eighth and ninth respectively. Fionn Coleman rounds out the top ten with 4-16 (0-3f), while Shane O’Regan moves up to 11th after impressing against Carrigaline.

Despite Sarsfields racking up a remarkable 176 points, O’Regan remains their sole representative in the top 15 – a testament to the squad's scoring depth.
Dean Brosnan’s absence against Charleville means he drops from seventh to 12th, while Robbie Cotter, Alan Walsh and Ryan Sweeney make up the remaining three places in the top 15.
Charleville are now the only team without a player in either the overall or from-play top 15.
The from-play scoring table also saw significant changes. Seán Walsh and William Buckley now share the top spot with a total of 27 points each – Buckley’s recent form earning him a call-up to the Cork panel for the Waterford clash.
Shane O’Regan is just behind on 2-20, while Fionn Coleman’s 4-14 has him tied for third. Dean Brosnan and Alan Walsh have slipped to fifth and sixth, the latter suspended for Kanturk’s game against the Barrs.

Eoin O’Leary sits a point ahead of Carrigtwohill’s James Mulcahy, with Robbie Cotter climbing to ninth. New entrant Jack Cahalane rounds out the top 10 with 4-7 from play in just three appearances.
Kevin O’Keeffe and Colin Walsh fall to 11th and 12th. Jack O’Connor moves up to 13th following a 1-5 return in Sarsfields’ rout of Carrigaline.
Douglas duo Alan Cadogan and Andrew O’Connell – the latter primarily a midfielder – are tied in 14th with 1-11 apiece from play.
