The Cork minor hurling panel for the coming season features four of those who played in 2024.

Fergal McCormack’s side open their Electric Ireland Munster MHC campaign in TUS Gaelic Grounds on Friday night against Limerick (7pm). Of the Cork team for last year’s All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final exit against Wexford, they can call upon Michael Tadhg Brosnan (Glen Rovers), Colm Garde (Lisgoold) and Eoghan O’Shea (Ballinhassig) while Killeagh’s Cormac Deane also had game-time during the season.

Last year's county U16 champions Sarsfields have four representatives: Adam Dunlea, Cathal Galvin, Adam Leahy and Tom O'Flynn.

Dromina’s Bobby Carroll is the Cork captain while Ruairc Donovan of Fermoy is the vice-captain.

Mallow native McCormack – an All-Ireland senior winner with Cork in 1999 – is assisted by selectors Trevor O’Keeffe (Aghada), Seán Barrett (Carrigtwoill), Diarmuid Corcoran (Courcey Rovers) and Mark Austin (Sarsfields).
