Tracton dethroned Belgooly in the Ross Oil JAHC semi-final after a titanic struggle in Riverstick.
Belgooly’s indiscipline contributed to surrendering their title as Ronan Walsh greatly obliged any opportunity he was given over the hour.
As both defences were on top this came down to two goals scored in either half by the Minane Bridge outfit and an outstanding performance from Sean Kiely. Their reward is a final with Valley Rovers' second team.
Tracton opened this eagerly awaited contest with a Ronan Walsh goal after Ruairi Dwyer had initially saved. Kevin Fitzgerald almost replied but Sean O’Sullivan prevented a green flag as Barry Dwyer obliged with the resulting 65.
Ruairí Dwyer then produced a fantastic save from Mark Byrne, with the game in the melting pot. Tracton continued to look for goals before Sean Kiely sent over a sideline.
Barry Dwyer and Ronan Walsh proved deadly from the placed ball as a goal separated the sides on 20 minutes with the scoreboard reading 1-3 to 0-3. With Walsh continuing to punish Belgooly, Conor and Eoin O'Donovan kept their side in it, with two fine points.
Both teams exchanged scores, Belgooly threw open the tie on 28 minutes as Eddie Corkery fed Eoin O'Donovan and he smashed the ball to the Tracton net.
They didn’t panic as Kiely and O'Sullivan added two points to leave the half-time score at 1-10 to 1-8. Tracton extended their lead through Walsh and O'Sullivan before Gearoid O'Riordan sent over a free from inside his own half.
Belgooly roared back as Eoin O'Donovan, Sean Kiely and Ryan Long left it at 1-12 to 1-11 after 40 minutes. Another Barry Dwyer free tied it up before Tracton’s Cian Quinn goaled on 55 minutes.
Eoin O'Donovan pulled back a point a minute later, but the goal chance they needed never materialised as David Byrne claimed the final score.

Valley Rovers nudged past Ballinhassig in a pulsating Ross Oil SE Junior A Hurling Championship semi-final in Belgooly.
While Valley’s full-forward Conor Tahaney provided the winning score, it was super-sub Harry O’Sullivan’s three second-half points that proved decisive.
Despite Valleys opening the scoring with a Cormac Desmond point it was Ballinhassig who took control of the game with a Sean Coleman goal and a point. Diarmuid O’Sullivan pressed home their advantage as he landed a monster point moments later.
Leading by 1-3 to 0-1 after eight minutes, two points from Sean McEntee had a goal between the sides on 10 minutes.
With both sides guilty of some poor shooting a superb McEntee score was added to by the deadly accuracy of Shane O’Leary, as Valleys narrowed the difference between the teams to a goal. From there to the interval the sides swapped scores with McEntee and O’Leary impressive from the dead ball but Ballinhassig kept in touch with scores from O’Sullivan and Patrick O’Regan.
However, Valleys took a one-point lead at half time thanks to a Cormac Desmond point as the scoreboard read 0-11 to 1-7.
With the wind at their backs, Hassig took control as they went on a scoring spree of five points to one, with Coleman and Gavin Sheehan claiming a brace each. Despite Gary Deane adding to Valley’s tally on 50 minutes, the Blues looked comfortable as they led by 1-13 to 0-13.
However, four unanswered points from the Innishannon outfit, including three from O’Sullivan had them hitting the front on 58 minutes
Ballinhassig talisman Coleman levelled a minute later but Tahaney had the final say with the winning point in what had been a pulsating encounter.
