Cork football boss John Cleary has confirmed his management team for next season.
It’s the same as this year with Micheál Ó Cróinín, James Loughrey, Barry Corkery and Kevin Walsh staying put with the addition of St Finbarr's Jim O’Donoghue as a selector and coach. O’Donoghue is a former Cork footballer and knows the club scene on Leeside very well having previously been involved with the Barrs. He was the coach under Paul O’Keeffe when the Togher side won the Premier SFC title in 2021. O'Donoghue was manager of the Cork U15 footballers this year.

Paul O’Sullivan is the nutritionist for the next campaign. The Blackrock man played a big part in the success of the Cork U20 hurling team when they won the Munster and All-Ireland trophies in 2023.
The big news is Walsh remaining on board for a third season. The Galway native came in for stern criticism in the wake of the Rebels defeat to Louth in the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final back in June. Cork's tactics were under the microscope this season most notably after that loss to the Wee County.

Gaining promotion out of the Allianz Division 2 football league will be a big objective for the Leesiders next year.
