HARBOUR Rovers regained the JAHC title they last held in 2020 when they overcame Kilshannig at Castletownroche.

Kilshannig were without the injured Killian O'Hanlon, Eanna O'Hanlon and Brian Guerin, while The winners' defence was awesome, with Jack Coughlan especially outstanding.

Kilshannig lacked scoring power with Jack Twomey their most dangerous forward while Man of the Match Stephen Condon and goalscorer Brian Gallagher made some key plays for Harbour Rovers up front.

After a tight opening, Gallagher came on for Rovers and pointed on his arrival. The Glanworth side got on top for a period with Peter Condon setting up a Padraig Hannon point before a pair of Stephen Condon frees made it 0-6 to 0-3. 

Kilshannig had a few wides before Evan O'Sullivan and  Twomey, with a fine effort, cut the deficit. Condon and Twomey exchanged frees: 0-7 to 0-6 at the break.

Stephen and Tom Condon scored on the resumption with Twomey responding for the Glantane side. The decisive green flag was raised in the 36th minute when Jesse Walsh and Stephen Condon worked well for Brian Gallagher: 1-9 to 0-8. 

Kilshannig replied when Eoin O'Sullivan set up a Dermot Twomey point, followed by a Paddy Walsh score. A neat Peter Condon score was Harbour Rovers' response. They defended well with Bill Curtin and Eoghan Bourke very solid. 

Darragh O'Sullivan placed Jack Twomey for a point and the latter followed with another, 1-10 to 0-12. Just when Kilshannig were getting on top it was Condon who landed a fine Rovers point.

A sideline cut from Jack Twomey was pointed by Paddy Walsh but Kilshannig could not get on terms. Tom and Stephen Condon with points opened up 1-13 to 0-13 advantage. 

Condon and Jack Kearney swapped points before Condon clipped over a sideline cut restoring the four-point lead. 

Kilshannig cut the gap to two before an injury-time Dave Pyne long-range free sealed the win.
