WATCH: The late, great Liam Miller in Sciath na Scol action for Ovens National School at Páirc Uí Chaoimh

While the ex-Man United, Celtic, Leeds and Cork City star made his name as a brilliant soccer midfielder before his untimely death earlier this year, he was a gifted hurler and footballer growing up.
Miller was the lynchpin of his Éire Óg side as a teen and captained Ovens National School to a Sciath na Scol football success over Greenmount back in October 1992 when he was only 11 years of age.

A host of high-profile names will be on Leeside next week to support Miller's family and charity organisations, including Ryan Giggs, Rio Ferdinand, Denis Irwin, Roy Keane, Neil Lennon, Robbie Keane and John Hartson when the Manchester United Legends face the Republic of Ireland/Celtic Legends.
It will be the first sell-out at the revamped GAA stadium, having been switched from Turner's Cross due to demand, but as the above clip shows Miller made his mark in the Páirc 27 years ago.
