Cork and Waterford hurling greats renew their rivalry for a great cause
Sunday night’s game, which will be refereed by Cathal McAllister, has a 6pm start, is being hosted by Youghal GAA club, at their splendid complex on Magner’s Hill, and is expected to draw a huge audience. Some of the greatest hurlers of the modern era will take to the field again.

Both counties have named very strong teams, evoking memories of their great clashes when they were two of the country’s leading teams.

Ken McGrath will manage the Waterford team, with his brother, Eoin, and James O’Connor alongside.
The game will be followed by a question-and-answer session in the clubhouse, with Kevin Hennessy, Donal O’Grady, and Tomás Mulcahy participating alongside players from both sides.
