The Everyman will host a dog-friendly screening of Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey as part of Cork International Film Festival (CIFF).
Sponsored by PwC, the screening returns following the success of last year’s event and will take place on Saturday, November 21, at 11.30am.
Released in 1993, the film features the voices of Michael J Fox, Sally Field and Don Ameche and follows three unforgettable pets as they embark on a journey to find their family.
The screening will also be presented as a ‘relaxed screening’, welcoming young people with sensory sensitivities and their families to a more comfortable and inclusive environment, and the balcony will remain a dog-free space.
Fiona Clark, festival director and CEO of Cork International Film Festival, said: “There’s something special about seeing audiences experience the joy of cinema in their own way.
“This screening captures the fun, warmth and sense of community that we love about the festival, and we look forward to welcoming audiences back to The Everyman for another memorable occasion.”
