Broadway glamour and sassy chic will be the order of the day at Cork’s Metropole Hotel next Sunday afternoon with the return of ‘Frankly My Dear’.

The show, which proved to be a big hit at last year’s Cork Guinness Jazz Festival, promises an afternoon of timeless classics, vintage swing rhythms, glamourous dancers, and theatrical surprises.

The show is a labour of love for its founder Helen O’Dwyer, who said it is a “feast for the senses — oozing style and charisma”.

“It’s a celebration of the golden age of entertainment, delivered with modern sass, infectious energy, and a generous helping of sparkle,” she said. “It’s all about giving people a chance to escape for an afternoon, enjoy some wonderful music and leave with a smile on their faces.”

Admission to the show, which starts at 2pm, is free, and children are welcome.
