Two Cork people appointed as new equity partners at EY Ireland 

EY Ireland has announced the appointment of two Cork natives as equity partners.

The appointments of Shane McCarthy and Julia Ann Corkery form part of a wider round of EY partner admissions across the island of Ireland.

From Cork city, Ms Corkery has been admitted as an EY partner in strategy and transactions. 

She has more than 17 years of experience advising on procurement and contract management across complex capital projects, particularly in the transport sector.

She also specialises in strategic commercial advisory, supporting public and private sector clients to deliver large scale programmes.

Originally from Skibbereen, Mr McCarthy has been admitted as a partner in assurance.

He will lead the EY Ireland AI and data infusion practice, specialising in the design and delivery of AI and data driven transformation programmes.

With a background as a data scientist, he has more than 15 years of experience working with clients across Ireland, the UK, the US, Australia and New Zealand.
