Kinsale to host public expenditure minister for post-Budget business conference

Minister for Public Expenditure Jack Chambers TD and economist Jim Power are set to headline the Kinsale Budget Breakfast Briefing 2027.

Taking place on Friday, October 9 at the Kinsale Hotel & Spa, the annual conference will bring together leaders from business, government, the accountancy profession and the wider community to examine Budget 2027 and Ireland's economic outlook.

Other speakers include Crona Clohisey, who will offer the perspective of the accountancy profession; Pat Lordan, former head of the Garda Economic Crime Bureau; David Swiburne, chair, Chartered Accountants Ireland Cork  and PR executive Ann Marie O'Sullivan, the event MC and moderator.

A new feature of this year's conference is the introduction of the Executive fireside chat – a leadership forum rather than a series of keynote presentations.

Delegates can expect practical insight, informed analysis and thought-provoking discussion on Budget 2027, economic competitiveness, responsible leadership, corporate governance, and the future direction of Irish business.

The conference will close with a networking element.
