Parts of Cork city’s northside may suffer nighttime water supply disruptions this week, Uisce Éireann has warned.

The water utility company said mains rehabilitation works are scheduled to begin at 9pm on Thursday night, May 28, running until midnight.

Uisce Éireann warned that the works are likely to cause some disruption to local water supplies in the surrounding areas.

According to the company, the works may cause water supply disruptions to Park Ct, Meelick Park, Spring Ln, Glenfields Estate, Chapelgate, Kempton Park, Mervue Estate, Glenheights Rd, Glenthorn Mews, Hawthorn Mews, Dublin Hill, and surrounding areas in Cork city.

A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of these works.

Uisce Éireann said it recommended that the public should allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.
