Water supply disruption warning for parts of Cork city’s northside today
Uisce Éireann said it recommended that the public should allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.
Parts of Cork city’s northside may suffer water supply disruptions this afternoon and evening, Uisce Éireann has warned.
The water utility company said mains repair works are scheduled to begin at 3.30pm today, Tuesday, May 19, running until 7.30pm this evening.
Uisce Éireann warned that the works are likely to cause some disruption to local water supplies in the surrounding areas.
According to the company, the works may cause water supply disruptions to Glentrasna Crescent, Glentrasna Avenue, Glen Avenue, Glentrasna Court, and surrounding areas in Cork city.
