The Down Syndrome Cork Field of Dreams in Curraheen is extending an open invitation to all cycle clubs. This Friday at midday will see the launch of this year’s Field of Dreams Cycle.

The cycle will take place on Sunday, June 7 with two routes covering distances of 50km and 100km.

The annual cycle has become a fixture on the local sporting calendar in recent years and it’s in aid of a fantastic cause.

Built on a three-acre site on the Clash Road in Curraheen, the DS Cork Field of Dreams was established in 2017 to meet the ongoing educational needs of adults with Down syndrome from across Cork city and county.

Registration is through Eventbrite, so check out eventbrite.ie and search for ‘Field of Dreams Cycle 2026'.
