Scoil Barra Naofa in Monkstown, Co Cork, recently hosted a History Day at the school.

The students were proud to show off their projects on the history of the local area.

Pupils revealed the hard work they had undertaken over the previous weeks on a wide range of subjects including their own school, Monkstown Castle, Monkstown Bay Sailing Club and more.

They even performed some songs for visitors on the day.
