Cork's Everyman presents Cunning Little Vixen next month

The Everyman presents The Cunning Little Vixen on Thursday, February 5.

A brand new production of The Cunning Little Vixen, presented by the Irish National Opera, is coming to The Everyman on Thursday, February 5.

Composed by Leoš Janáček, the opera follows a young vixen who is captured by a forester but eventually escapes to the wild, exploring themes of freedom, nature and the cycle of life.

American soprano Amber Norelai stars as the vixen, with Irish soprano Jade Phoenix ( Die Fledermaus, 2025) as the fox and Irish baritone Benjamin Russell as the forester.

The Cunning Little Vixen is directed by Sophie Motley ( Werther, 2023) and also features music from the Irish National Opera orchestra and chorus.

Tickets can be booked directly through The Everyman website at https://tinyurl.com/3y5ry7ef, with the performance commencing at 7:30pm.

The Cunning Little Vixen will be coming to nine venues across Ireland, opening the tour at Siamsa Tíre in Tralee on Saturday, January 31.
