A programme hosted by Late Late Toy Show star and Cork’s own Adam King is set to return as part of the RTÉ new year schedule.
Adam Loves Adventure will be broadcast this February on RTÉ KIDS and RTÉ KIDSjr, and will see Adam King star as a problem-solving space explorer, whose primary objective is to bring laughter and fun to the farthest reaches of space. The programme will also be airing as Gaeilge in March.
Elsewhere, Any Given Day: Cork University Hospital, which will be first broadcast on Wednesday, January 7, at 9:35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, is a new six-part documentary series that goes behind the scenes of one of the biggest and busiest hospitals in Ireland.
The series will offer access inside CUH, capturing the round-the-clock shifts of the thousands of professionals who deliver care. Courtesy of staff stories and patient journeys, Any Given Day tells a story of a health service in action.

Ballinhassig native Jacqui Hurley will be hosting Inside Sport with Marie Crowe. Airing Monday to Friday at 6pm on RTÉ Radio 1, the programme explores the biggest stories in sport, with expert analysis, exclusive interviews and the latest updates.
Ms Hurley will also be on hosting duties for RTÉ’s Six Nations Rugby coverage which begins in February. She will be joined by a panel of experts including former Munster and Ireland players in Cork men Simon Zebo and Donal Lenihan.
Also, part of the new year schedule on RTÉ this coming spring will see RTÉ Investigates look at mental health services in Ireland, with a two-part series broadcasting in February.
RTÉ will also broadcast a two-part series, The Ryanair Story, documenting the 40-year history of Ryanair and how the airline has progressed over the years in the aviation industry.
Museum of Me will also be broadcast on RTÉ in the spring. Broadcaster Dermot Whelan will invite well-known Irish public figures, including Pat Shortt, Bryan Dobson and Emma Doran, to become curators of their own museum exhibition.
