The Lord Mayor’s Gala Charity Christmas Concert will return to Cork City Hall this weekend, promising one of the most memorable nights of the festive season.
With the theme ‘A Very Cork Christmas’, this year’s concert will celebrate tradition, music, and community spirit, uniting some of Cork finest choirs, soloists and musicians.
Soloists Majella Cullagh, Lady Fi, and Barry Tierney will be joined by the Cork Concert Orchestra and an ensemble of local talent including the Joan Denise Moriarty School of Dance, Montforts Youth Choir, Cór Cois Abhann, the Garda Male Voice Choir, and Signalman Aaron Kearney of the Irish Defence Forces.
The concert is a charity event, and this year’s proceeds will go to Cork Alzheimer’s, Shine A Light, and Samaritans Cork, making it the perfect way to embrace the magic of the season, while creating a lasting impact.
Online tickets are already sold out, but some seats are still available at Pro Musica on Oliver Plunkett St.
The Lord Mayor’s Gala Charity Christmas Concert is in Cork City Hall at 8pm on Saturday, December 6. Tickets start at €30.
