A Cork pharmacy has raised more than €6,000 for Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation through a recent charity initiative, making it the top fundraising store in Ireland.

Life Pharmacy, part of the Uniphar Group, has celebrated the success of its 2025 ‘Walk 100km in September’ campaign in aid of the foundation, after raising over €142,064 — far surpassing its initial goal of €100,000.

The standout performer of the campaign was Mulcahy’s Life Pharmacy, Main Street, Mallow, which raised €6,049, making it the highest fundraising pharmacy in the Life Pharmacy network.

Throughout the month of September, Life Pharmacy teams and their customers across Ireland took part in Walk 100km, stepping up in solidarity with Jack and Jill families and walking thousands of kilometres nationwide.

The funds raised will provide more than 7,800 hours of vital in-home nursing care for families caring for children with complex medical needs.
