People will have the opportunity to join a free surfing lesson at Barleycove beach in West Cork while also doing their bit to protect marine life and keep coastal areas clean.
Clean Coasts and Fáilte Ireland are inviting the public to participate in a free surfing taster as part of the #2MinuteBeachClean Summer Surf Club.
Whether you are a total beginner or just looking for a new way to enjoy the sea, the fun and exclusive session provides an opportunity to try surfing, with all gear and instruction provided.
The taster session will take place in Barleycove on August 26 at 12pm and will be led by experienced instructors from Barleycove Surf Camp.

“Spending time in the water or by the sea is a fantastic way to connect with nature and enjoy the benefits that it brings.
