The four Cork businesses are among the 30 Irish firms announced as Grow with ALDI finalists.

Four Cork businesses are among the 2025 Grow with Aldi finalists, who have been announced following a nationwide search for the country’s best suppliers in the food and drinks industry.

Greenfield Yogurt, Good Dairy Company, Mella’s Fudge, and Seafood Deli are the four among 30 suppliers from across Ireland to have earned a spot to showcase their products.

All four will sell their products in Aldi stores nationwide for a two-week period starting September 11, thereby offering customers across the island of Ireland a chance to enjoy the taste of Cork.

Hailing from North Cork, Greenfield Yogurt will launch their €1.99 Natural Live Yogurt, made using milk from grass-fed cows, in Aldi stores nationwide this September.

The Good Dairy Company, of Nohoval, specialises in handcrafted ice-cream made using the family farm’s own milk, with flavours including Kindermoo Artisan Farm ice cream and Toffee Caramoo Artisan Farm ice cream, both €4.49, while Mella’s Fudge, Ireland’s only fudge factory, will see their West Cork-made Irish butter fudge on sale for €2.49.

SUSTAINABLY-SOURCED

The fourth Cork finalist, Seafood Deli, brings sustainably-sourced West Cork seafood to the rest of Ireland, such as traditional West Cork fish pie for €4.99.

Delivered in partnership with Bord Bia, Grow with Aldi is in its eighth year and is a leading developmental platform for Irish suppliers.

The programme provides industry mentorship and retail guidance to foster the growth and sustainability of small- to medium-sized Irish businesses. Since the programme’s inception in 2018, Aldi has invested €10m in it.

Speaking about the finalists, Rachael O’Connor, Aldi’s buying director, said: “We are delighted to announce this year’s Grow with Aldi finalists.

“At Aldi, we’re proud to champion emerging producers, offering them a national platform, while bringing our customers high-quality, Irish-made products. We greatly look forward to welcoming these fantastic new products into stores nationwide. Our shoppers are in for a real treat!”
