Cars and house damaged on Cork city's northside as Gardaí investigate incident linked to feud

Videos circulating of the incident show around ten masked men damaging cars and a house with weapons.
A garda spokesperson told
: “Gardaí received a report of an incident of criminal damage that occurred in the Onslow Garden area, Cork city on Thursday 10th July 2025 at approximately 9:45 pm.“A domestic residence and a number of vehicles have been reported as damaged. Investigations are ongoing.”
Independent Ireland TD for Cork North Central Ken O’Flynn told The Echo that the incident involved to “serious public disorder, destruction of property, and the terrorising of an otherwise peaceful neighbourhood.
He asked for all involved to show restraint, saying: “Nothing justifies this sort of aggression, and it must stop before someone is seriously injured or killed. I urge those engaged in this feud to take a step back and consider the devastation they are bringing not only upon each other but upon the wider community.”
Mr O’Flynn encouraged dialogue, but added that he will be raising the matter with the Gardaí and the Minister for Justice “to ensure that an immediate and visible policing response is deployed”.
