Gardaí and emergency services at traffic incident in Belgooly

Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a collision near Belgooly in Cork county.

The incident, involving two vehicles, occurred on the R600 outside Belgooly near Keith Floyd’s Old House, at approximately 11am.

It is understood that the road remains open at this time, with traffic calming measures in place, in the form of a stop-and-go system.

A Garda spokesperson told The Echo that as this is an ongoing incident, no further information is available.
