Man accused of two burglaries in Cork to go to trial on April 28

A book of evidence was served on a 59-year-old man accused of burgling two commercial premises in Cork city last November and December.

Sergeant Gearóid Davis confirmed that the book of evidence had been served on the accused and Judge Mary Dorgan sent the case forward for trial at the next sessions of Cork Circuit Criminal Court, commencing on April 28.
David Cronin is accused of carrying out two burglaries and causing damage to both premises in Cork city in November and December 2024.
David Cronin, of St Vincent’s hostel, Anglesea Ter, Cork, is accused of burglary that on November 5, 2024, at DL Supplies, Lower Glanmire Rd, Cork, as an alleged trespasser, he allegedly committed the theft of €40 cash, and on December 4, 2024, at a house at Devonshire St, Cork, he allegedly entered the premises as a trespasser.
He also faces two related criminal damage charges.
