Motorists across Cork have been advised to plan ahead as the Jack Lynch Tunnel will be closed for three nights this week for essential works.
The tunnel will undergo essential maintenance works from tonight, resulting in a full closure of the route.
The closures will take place from 9pm to 4am, and will be in effect across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night this week.
Alternative routes will be clearly signposted, with drivers encouraged to plan in advance to avoid delays.
