Tickets to see Beyoncé, Wimbledon, and the US Open Tennis will be up for grabs tomorrow night in a fundraising auction in Cork.

The auction will take place in Fota Island Resort as part of the Cork Simon Annual Fundraising ball, which raises much-needed funds to combat homelessness.

Among the highlights on the auction list are two seats at the Wimbledon Men’s semi-finals with champagne lunch in the Champions Suite and VIP Hospitality, US Open tickets at Flushing Meadows with flights from Dublin, exclusive access to the Heineken Suite, premium seats and hospitality and a night of grandeur and history for 10 people in the newly-restored Norman Belvelly Castle along with a gastronomic and wine pairing mastery.

Four tickets to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour in London, exclusive dinner opportunities and a Munster Rugby venture including a signed jersey and VIP hospitality will also be up for auction on the night.

John Burchill, operations manager at Hayfield Manor and Cork Simon Ball Committee co-chair 2025 said they are looking forward to the auction as part of the Fundraising Ball.

“We are very grateful for the kind donations made for the auction, they are experiences people will treasure,” he said.

“The need for Cork Simon services has increased year on year so the fundraising ball is of utmost importance.

“We look forward to welcoming the attendees on the night and I’d like to thank everyone for their continued support. It’s very much appreciated.”

Meanwhile, Stephanie Rainey is to perform on the night at the ball. The singer songwriter rose to fame with her performances on America’s Got Talent.

The Cork Simon annual ball has raised €1.5m in recent years and is an opportunity for Cork companies to work together and to raise funds that will help support Cork Simon’s work.

The event is organised by a voluntary committee made up of local business leaders and is sponsored by a number of Cork-based companies.
