Man to appear in court after arrest by Gardaí investigating assault
Garda investigations are ongoing into the incident, described as a serious assault.
Gardaí investigating a serious assault which took place in Clonakilty in the early hours of Sunday morning have arrested a male, it has been confirmed in a statement.
The male, aged in his 20s, was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. He has since been charged in connection with this investigation and is expected to appear before Macroom District Court tomorrow morning (Wednesday), February 19. 2025.
Investigations are ongoing, a Garda spokesperson said in a statement.
