The drivers of both vehicles, a male in his 80s and a female in her 40s, were conveyed to Cork University Hospital (CUH) for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a road traffic collision in Cork yesterday.

The incident, involving two cars, occurred eastbound on the N25 near Cobh Cross shortly before 3pm.

The drivers of both vehicles, a male in his 80s and a female in her 40s, were conveyed to Cork University Hospital (CUH) for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Gardaí are now appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling on the N25 and the environs of Cobh Cross yesterday, between 2.30pm and 3.15pm, are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
