Snapper flying high as Cork Airport exhibition opens

At the launch of his photography exhibition at Cork Airport was photographer Dennis Horgan (centre), accompanied by Tara Finn and Niall MacCarthy of Cork Airport.

A new exhibition of images has opened at Cork Airport, serving as a bright and vibrant welcome for visitors passing through the terminal.

Located at the airside arrivals area, the exhibition features a collection of images through the lens of West-Cork-based photographer Dennis Horgan.

Mr Horgan said it was a pleasure to partner with Cork Airport “in the promotion of Cork tourism and local photography”.

Included in the exhibition are aerial images of locations from East Cork to West Cork. Also featuring are a collection of images of search-and-rescue services, including the RNLI and Irish Coast Guard on exercises off shore.

Niall MacCarthy, managing director of Cork Airport, said: 

“Our visitors love the Irish coastline and it is our pleasure to showcase the works of a wonderful local photographer of Dennis Horgan’s calibre, highlighting the best of coastal Cork.

“We promote Cork and the South of Ireland tourism, and we will continue to do so with vibrant exhibitions.”
