Following a run of sold out shows in 2024, Niall ‘Bressie’ Breslin is bringing his multi-award-winning Where is My Mind? podcast to Macroom this spring.

On May 17, Bressie will be performing his live podcast show to the Briery Gap in the Mid Cork town.

Where Is My Mind? is described as a “marvelous show [that] has captivated audiences with its humour, heart, relatability and creativity".

Bressie is a lifelong learner with a MSc in mindfulness-based intervention, a bachelors degree in economic and sociology, and is also an honorary fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons and the Institute of Art, Design and Technology.

He is currently pursuing a PhD in Trinity College Dublin.

Also a bestselling author, musician, philanthropist, and former professional athlete, Bressie’s live show is a mixture of music, spoken word, monologues, and features some well-known guests.

Past guests on Bressie’s Where Is My Mind? include; Deepak Chopra, Moby, Edith Eger, Adam Clayton (U2), Dan Harris, Jameela Jamil, Simon Neil (Biffy Clyro), Andrew Hubermann, Chris Ryan, Ruby Wax, Luke O’Neill, and Sharon Salzberg.

Macroom’s Briery Gap Theatre and Library was badly damaged in a devastating fire in 2016, but was renovated at a cost of €10.3m and reopened last September after being closed for eight years.

It has been re-established as a hub for theatre, music, and film in the area — with a wide range of events on offer.

Tickets for Bressie’s Where Is My Mind? at the Briery Gap in Macroom are now on sale through the official Briery Gap website.

Tickets cost €30 and the show on May 17 commences at 8pm. See https://tinyurl.com/5n6xzatj.
