The Lantern Project’s ‘A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes’ concert brought the community together recently.

The event, which took place in December in the Goldie Chapel at Nano Nagle Place on Douglas Street, showcased what is at the heart of the Lantern Project: connection, creativity, and community.

Through the power of music and collaboration, it brought together choirs, performers, and attendees in a shared celebration of togetherness.

It was a celebration of what can be achieved when people come together with open hearts and shared purpose.

The afternoon was filled with heartfelt music by Cór na Laoí and the Coláiste Éamann Rís choir, under the musical direction of Clodagh O’Donovan and Hannah Healy.

“A huge thank you to the National Lottery, HSE, and the Ballyphehane Togher CDP, for supporting this event and the continued work of the Lantern Project,” a spokesperson said.

The Lantern Project is a safe space where individuals come together to learn, grow, and connect.

It focuses on community education and creativity, emphasising self-development, wellbeing, and enhancing self-esteem.
