Woman hospitalised following 'disturbance' in Cork city centre

A woman has been hospitalised following an incident in Cork city centre.

Gardaí responded to reports of a disturbance on Patrick Street in Cork at around 7.40pm this evening.

A spokesperson confirmed that a woman was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.

"No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing," they added.
