David Kitt and Niamh Regan to play Cork's MusicZone
Singer and songwriter David Kitt will play at MusicZone in Togher on Monday, May 27.
One of Cork’s favourite record shops is looking forward to some great live music, with two critically acclaimed singer songwriters playing in-store in the coming days.
On Monday, David Kitt will make his second in-store appearance at MusicZone, starting at 6pm and promoting the reissue on vinyl of his album ‘Not Fade Away’.
It’s the first time the record has been available since its initial release on Rough Trade records in 2006.
The album has been remastered and resequenced on 180g vinyl, and features a re-recorded version of Say No More and a brand new song, Love Someone Else, which features Niamh Regan, who, coincidentally, is also playing in-store the following Saturday, June 1 from 1pm.
David Kitt has released eight studio albums, and to celebrate the reissue of ‘Not Fade Away’, he is playing a series of live shows throughout Ireland, leading up to a full band show at Whelan’s in Dublin on September 21.
Niamh Regan’s debut album 'Hemet' was released in 2020.
Niamh Regan will be promoting her sophomore album, 'Come As You Are'.
Both artists will be signing albums and talking to fans after their respective performances.
