Gardaí have confirmed that a 14 year old girl who was reported missing from Blarney, Co Cork has been found safe and well.

Eire King had last been seen in the Blarney area on May 2.

"No further action is needed at this time," gardaí said in a statement this evening.

"Gardaí wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance," they added.

GARDAÍ are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 14-year-old Eire King, who was last seen in the Blarney area on May 2.

Eire is described as being approximately 5 foot 4 inches in height with a slim build, light blonde/brown hair and blue eyes.

Eire was wearing a royal blue jumper and grey pants when she was last seen.
