Man last seen in Carrigaline almost a year ago found 'safe and well'

A man, missing since February 2023, has been located safe and well.

Last June, gardaí issued a statement asking for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of 60-year-old Mark Atkinson who had last been seen in Carrigaline, County Cork on Wednesday, February 1 2023.

They have today confirmed he has been found safe and well.

A statement from An Garda Síochána said: "Mark Atkinson, 60 years, has been located safe and well. No further action required at this time.

"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and media for their assistance."
