Power outages impacting thousands of people in Cork
ESB Networks is reporting significant outages in parts of West Cork with more than 3,200 homes and businesses impacted by two separate outages in Bantry.

ESB Networks is reporting significant outages in parts of West Cork with more than 3,200 homes and businesses impacted by two separate outages in Bantry.
It is not expected that power will be restored to customers there before 11.30am, ESB Networks said.
Outages are also being reported in the greater Lee Bridge area as well as Cloonbannin.
The outages are among thousands of interruptions to electricity services being reported around the country and coincide with a national yellow wind warning which is expected to remain in place until 8pm this evening.
Met Éireann is warning that northwest winds will be very strong at times today making for difficult driving and cycling conditions.
The forecaster is also warning that potential impacts could include debris/loose objects becoming displaced.
