THE ongoing collaboration between Cobh and Harbour Chamber of Commerce and the Port of Cork Company (PoCC) looks set to continue into next year following the announcement that PoCC would be extending its sponsorship during 2024.

The announcement came following the September Business Breakfast which was held in Cobh’s Titanic Bar and Grill on Friday, a sold-out event which was addressed by Finance Minister Michael McGrath.

Cobh and Harbour Chamber President Toddy Stafford said the support of the PoCC would enable the holding of many more events such as the Business Breakfast which were informative as well as being opportunities for networking.

“We are immensely grateful to the Port of Cork Company for their continued support into 2024. Cobh and Harbour Chamber very much values the longstanding and collaborative relationship we have with PoCC,” said Mr. Stafford.

PoCC Chief Commercial Officer Conor Mowlds paid tribute to the work of Cobh and Harbour Chamber: “As we work towards achieving the ambitions laid out in our Port of Cork Masterplan 2050, strengthening relationships with the local community and businesses is vital to us.”
