Over 5000 homes affected in Cork power outage

The network has apologised for the disruption in supply and have said they are working to restore power to the area as quickly as possible.

Over 5,000 people are without power in the Kilbarry area due to an ESB fault.

The network has apologised for the disruption in supply and have said they are working to restore power to the area as quickly as possible.

A total of 5542 ESB customers were without power at around 9pm on Friday night and the ESB said they would have power back by 10pm.
