McDonald's is now offering food delivery in Cork.

The fast-food chain has partnered with food delivery company Uber Eats to provide the service.

The Cork stores at Winthrop Street, Patrick's Street, Commons Road, Blackpool Shopping Centre and Musgrave Park will offer the option to order and pay online through the Uber Eats phone app and then have the food delivered to your home or businesses.

The delivery range for Uber Eats extends to the city centre, parts of Douglas, CUH and the CIT and most of the northside.

Uber Eats is also working with a number of other Cork restaurants including Sliced, Burritos & Blues and Maki Sushi Rolls.

It is the latest food delivery service to launch in Cork and will compete with rivals Deliveroo and Just Eat. However, Uber Eats is the first to offer food delivery from McDonald's.

Uber Eats began operations in Cork, Dublin, Galway and Limerick yesterday, delivering food to homes and businesses via bicycle and motorbike couriers.

All orders are made through the Uber Eats app.
