Roy Keane's father Mossie passes away

Maurice “Mossie” Keane, the father of Cork soccer legend Roy Keane, has died.

Maurice Keane passed away yesterday in the Heather Care Home on the northside of the city.

Reposing from Friday morning at O’Connor Bros. funeral home, Northgate Bridge, followed by removal to the Church of Resurrection, Farranree at 7pm.

Mass will take place at 10am on Saturday, followed by burial at St Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully.
