Kilmore Road reopens following repairs

The road became unstable during works on a sewer yesterday afternoon and was closed overnight to allow reinforcement works.

KILMORE Road in Knocknaheeny has reopened to traffic this morning.

The route is currently reduced to a one way system to facilitate development of new housing in the area as part of the Knocknaheeny Regeneration Project.

However, the road became unstable during works on a sewer yesterday afternoon and was closed overnight to allow reinforcement works.

Local Local Fianna Fail councillor Tony Fitzgerald said the one way system is now back in operation this morning.
