Drugs and firearm seized on Cork's northside

A firearm and cocaine have been seized on Cork's northside.

Gardaí attached to Gurranabraher conducted a search operation yesterday afternoon, Tuesday October 13, at approximately 4pm at Knocknaheeny, in Cork city.

During the course of the search a firearm, a magazine and approximately €800 of cocaine (subject to analysis) was seized.

No arrests have been made at this time and investigations are ongoing.
