GET THE WHOLE FAMILY INVOLVED; Take part in the special lockdown Diffney quiz.

THE Diffney Quiz is normally a once-a-year Christmas treat, for readers of the famous Cork Holly Bough. But with thousands of us confined to our homes, we asked the compiler, Gerry Diffney, to come up with a special quiz to while away these days of lockdown.

Grab a copy of The Echo today (Friday, April 3) and you can play along - and you can also play online http://www.echolive.ie/diffneyquiz

For those unfamilar with it, it’s a fiendishly easy concept: just work out what the letters stand for and try to answer all 60!

There’s a prize of €100 to the first entry drawn with the most correct answers. Closing date is Thursday, April 16, 2020.

Jessica Ní Chonaill said: “Quarantine’s looking up.”

Ann Hayward quipped: "I’m still working on the Christmas one!"

The reaction too news of the special Diffney quiz has been great.
