Cork-headquartered communications agency shortlisted for prestigious industry award

Fuzion, a national brand communications agency, have been shortlisted for the Best Integrated Campaign in the prestigious ‘2024 Awards for Excellence in Public Relations’ for their standout campaign, "Brigid 1500: The Woman, The Life, The Legacy."

Fuzion, a national brand communications agency, has announced it has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2024 Awards for Excellence in Public Relations.

With offices in both Cork and Dublin, Fuzion boasts a diverse client portfolio, collaborating with esteemed national and international names from the public sector, non-profit, hospitality and tourism, professional services, food and beverage, retail sector.

Their standout campaign, “Brigid 1500: The Woman, The Life, The Legacy,” has earned a place on the shortlist for the Best Integrated Campaign category.

The Brigid 1500 campaign centered upon celebrating the rich heritage of St Brigid, 1500 years after her passing, whilst building a vibrant cultural atmosphere in Co. Kildare.

Incorporating elements of creative storytelling, strategic advertising, and unique photo opportunities, the campaign appealed to a diverse audience in Ireland and worldwide, demonstrating the profound influence of StBrigid whilst boosting local tourism.

Katie Lane, part of the Brigid1500 team in Kildare County Council commented: “Kildare County Council has developed a strong partnership with Fuzion Communications, working together to promote the timeless message of Brigid 1500, resonating with communities in Kildare and beyond.”

“Featuring a series of national events and initiatives including festivals, concerts, talks, art commissions, illuminations, and workshops, the campaign engaged communities and provided meaningful experiences, showcasing her life and legacy.”
