Late goals give Bohemians first leg win over Ballkani

Two goals in the final 15 minutes gave Bohemians a 2-1 win over Kosovo side Ballkani in their Conference League qualifier in Dalymount Park, the stadium's final European game.

Bohemians conceded a penalty just before the half-hour mark, as Ballkani took a 1-0 lead into the interval.

But Douglas James-Taylor equalised with 15 minutes remaining before Ross Tierney got the winner in the 90th minute to ensure Bohemians travel to Kosovo leading the tie.

If Bohemians manage to progress to the next round by beating Ballkani in Pristina City Stadium, to play the losers from Beşiktaş JK (Turkey) versus FC Midtjylland (Denmark), the home leg will switch to Tallaght.
