After James Lowe was yellow-carded, the Bulls got on the scoresheet, making it 29-7. The Bulls had a try ruled out before Harry Byrne capped off the display as he went over to make the final score 36-7.
Sam Prendergast on Premier Sports: “It was pretty special, we have unbelievable characters leaving the group, it’s nice to have a happy memory to end it on, and we can celebrate that in the next few days.
“It was pretty similar to last year, two very good performances. Since Europe, our group has been focused on winning this back-to-back. Nobody had done it before.
Captain Caelan Doris, who went off after five minutes: “My knee was fine, it was actually something else. We’ll get it checked later. But I’m looking forward to a few beers with the lads. From a big disappointment a few weeks ago, I’m very proud we have been able to turn the page. It’s been a massive motivation for us to get it right, it was great to watch.”
