Limerick are the 2026 Munster Senior Hurling Champions.

John Kiely's side came from behind to secure a 1-21 to 2-17 win over Cork at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Gearoid Hegarty with the Limerick goal, while Aidan O'Connor pitched in with 8 points.

It's a 26th provincial title for the treaty men, who go into the All Ireland semi-finals.

The Dublin ladies got off to a winning start in round one of the All Ireland Football Championship.

Goals from Kate Sullivan, and two from Niamh Heherton helped Paul Casey's side to a 3-12 to 12 point win over Mayo in Castlebar in group 3.

In group 2, Kerry have beaten Tipperary 2-16 to 4 points at Austin Stack Park.

Despite that, boss Carla Ward said Littlejohn was the sharpest she had been in years.

However the Italian is up in the second set.
