Meath have gone joint top of Division 2 in the National Football League.

The Royals eased past Kildare by 1-21 to 10 points in Newbridge.


Earlier, Louth strolled to a 1-22 to 1-12 victory over Cavan at Kingspan Breffni Park.

Tyrone hammered Offaly by 28 points to 2-13 in Omagh.


Down have kept up their unbeaten run in Division 3.

They held on to beat Fermanagh by 1-18 to 1-15 to make it five wins out of five.

Clare are up to second after getting the better of neighbours Limerick by 1-21 to 1-12

Laois closed the gap on Westmeath with a 3-16 to 1-13 win over their Lake County earlier.

In Division 4 , Antrim were too good for Wicklow, coming out on top by 2-18 to 1-14


Clare made it five wins from five in Division 1B of the Hurling League.

They eased to a 1-28 to 18 point victory away to Carlow.

Rugby

Munster have put their losing streak behind them on Saturday evening.

Clayton McMillan's side won at Thomond Park for the first time in four games with a 21-7 victory over Zebre.
